Welcome to Manning Capital Management website. The purpose of website is to build an African American community of investors globally where we share financial information, collaborate and use wealth to build African American communities globally. This website is about African Americans teaching themselves about financial investments, trading stocks and a forum where passionate investors connect daily to discover and share new investing ideas, discuss the latest market news, discuss stock picking, and make informed investment decisions.
The Investment Story
I am an African American who has been blessed to be investing and trading for at least 20+ years. I have had a lot of experiences with ups and downs in the market. Along the way I collected a lot of valuable information that I believe will help you in becoming a better investor and trader. God has given me a passion for investing and trading. After 20+ years now I am able to share this passion with others. I have always wanted to give back to my African American community in some way. This is the vision that was given to me by God. I hope I am able to share my knowledge and have others share their knowledge by using my forum to collaborate on financial Investments.
Early Days
The reason I chose this path was I had other businesses in the past that required partners, employees or a team in order to be successful. Great thing about stock investing and trading is you can do it by yourself while working from your home. It is the only business career I knew where you can create unlimited wealth without needing business partners.
Gaining Knowledge
If there is anything I would like to impart on you. Over my 20+ years of trading and investing capital preservation is more important than capital appreciation. There are times in market cycles to have a higher percentage of your portfolio in either stocks, bonds, real estate or other asset classes. Fundamentals and Technical analysis will help you make better investment decisions.
Hopefully I will be able to share enough investment tools such as fundamentals, technicals, market outlook, market cycles, analyzing great companies, and a forum for discussing and sharing financial info. I believe if you are able to grasp all the knowledge on this site you will be able to develop unique market intelligence, identify market trends and be innovative in investing and trading.
This site will prepare you for great opportunities. Remember successful investing is when opportunity meets preparation. Some of my best returns where doing the Dot Com bubble opportunity and the Covid-19 pandemic opportunity. Everything is based on market cycles. Hopefully this site will give you enough information to prepare yourself for the next great opportunity.
